Meet Duke! Duke is a 4 yo German Shepard mix who was owner-surrendered to the shelter through no fault of his own. This stud-muffin is calm, sweet, gentle, intelligent, crate trained & walks wonderfully on a leash! Honestly, it’s a wonder why anyone would have given him up in the first place. HE IS SO PERFECT!!!!!!!
Duke’s foster says he is friendly & non-reactive towards dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes, but LOVES to play with big dogs in particular! He is content to lay next to you while you work, or share a favored squeaky toy with you during play time. He is currently getting re-housebroken but has made incredible progress in just a few days with 2 simple things: structure and yummy treats. He already knows sit, paw, and off — and the right pawrent can teach him so much more if they choose! BEST BOY!
