Meet Billy !
There is something so special about Billy. He's a gorgeous merle Aussie with that classic, electric drive and no concept of personal space. Just put a frisbee in front of him, pull his favorite tug ball or take him for a car ride, and his entire world lights up.
But what his foster loves most about him is his quiet side. After a good walk or a play session, he settles into his crate or bed.
He is just a young dog who desperately craves clarity, structure and consistency to make him feel safe enough to relax and trust you. He is well trained with commands and leash manners. Not reactive and just curious about the world
He is not phased out by other dogs or cats and with the appropriate exposure he will be great with other dogs. Given his athletic nature and his breed instincts, he will do well in herding, dock diving and anything frisbee related. This dog can do so much more than a walk around the block or a hike.
Billy has so much love and loyalty to give, but he needs an experienced, active, calm household without young children, a place where routines are predictable, exercise and mental activity are a daily priority, affection is plentiful and his people follow through on what they ask of him.
Billy is currently being fostered/trained in Los Angeles and is available for adoption in California.
