Meet Balto!
Balto is a 5 month old Husky mix with the sweetest personality and a heart that wins everyone over. At around 25 pounds, he’s the perfect mix of playful puppy and calm companion. He was a little shy when he first arrived, but he’s settling into foster care beautifully and becomes more confident every day. He loves meeting new people and greets everyone with gentle kisses!!!
And like any good Husky, when he gets excited you’ll hear his adorable little Husky yell !
For such a young puppy, Balto has incredible manners. He also loves his crate and happily puts himself to bed at night.
Balto is very gentle with his toys. Instead of chewing them up, he carries them around, squeaks them, and even cuddles with them when he naps. He’s also a smart little guy who’s already learning “sit,” although he’s a bit of a food critic and prefers high value treats over regular biscuits.
He enjoys playing but isn’t an over the top, high energy puppy. He’s FANTASTIC with other dogs and has such a gentle temperament that we think he’d do well with respectful children and likely cats too. He’s already learning to walk nicely on leash and is ready for all the adventures his future family has planned.
Balto is truly a special puppy with a kind, loving personality.
