Meet Cleo!
Cleo is a beautiful and resilient 1 year old young Doberman who’s ready to start her next chapter with a loving forever family! Found as a stray by Carson Animal Shelter, she came in with a fractured fibula.
For her comfort and long-term quality of life, the shelter’s veterinarians made the decision to amputate the injured leg — and she hasn’t looked back since! Tripod girl!
Despite everything she’s been through, Cleo is incredibly SWEET, playful, and affectionate. She’s great with cats, kids, and just about anyone who offers a kind word or a belly rub. Her puppy energy shines through in her curiosity and love for playtime, but she also knows how to wind down and RELAX when it’s time.
She’s still young, so she’s learning as she goes — but she’s SMART and eager to please, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience.
Cleo would thrive in a home that’s ready to continue her training and provide a stable, loving environment. Because she’s still young and adjusting, she needs someone who is patient, consistent, and willing to support her as she grows into a confident, well-adjusted dog!
