He has been waiting for a home that’s going to be able to be patient with him and understand that some dogs take a little bit of time to come around and then will be 100% loyal & loving!
Deuce is a 4yr old 78 pound boy saved from euthanasia for overcrowding at Downey Shelter, and since he has been super LOVING and full of life.
Deuce is DOG friendly, he really likes dogs of all sizes but especially ones he can wrestle and have a blast with! With them he is playful and gentle: he LOVES to play ball, run around in the yard with toys and love on any humans that are his.
Deuce takes a slow introduction to feel good with any dogs or human. He needs someone that’s ok with not an immediate bonding experience for the first day or two -
He is looking for a family thats patient and kind, doesn’t have too many guests, that’s looking for a dog for their dog, or even just to be a companion for a MEDIUM active person or couple!
His current foster says he’s a very sweet dog and he just wants to be loved. Deuce is affectionate and loves cuddling - he’s highly food motivated so he can be trained easily with lots of treats! &
his favorite activities are running around and playing or watching tv; not high energy at all.
He’s currently located in Oregon but available to anywhere in the PNW!
