Meet 1 year old Ellie!!!!
Ellie is so special. She is so small and cute, but is a bit traumatized!
We rescued ellie from a high euthanasia shelter. We don’t know her life before, but she has been with us for a while and has been through tons of training and unfortunately her separation anxiety and stranger danger shows through sometimes. She is NOT aggressive, just scared.
She needs someone willing to love her no matter what. Willing to be patient. She would love a home with someone who works from home as she trusts her humans more than anyone and wants to be near them!
Preferable no males who wear baggy clothing around because they resemble dog shelter workers who she is afraid of.
She does fine with other dogs on walks. In the home, she is reactive with them until she gets to know them… just insecurity. It can work out with patience.
Again, she’s lovely and so sweet and shouldn’t be considered unadoptable just because she’s scared. She’s perfect how she is, she just needs a family who has someone who works from home and doesn’t mind companionship.
